Liability

MP Landscape and Garden Design  accepts no liability for any works carried out by third-party or recommended contractors. This includes, but is not limited to, construction, drainage, electrical, structural, plumbing works, site safety, and materials supplied. All contractors are solely responsible for guaranteeing and warranting their own work.

Design Work

​

Garden layout plans produced by MP Landscape and Garden Design  are intended to show the proposed design concept, including elements, features, and materials to be used in the construction of your garden. These plans do not include detailed construction, drainage, electrical, structural, or plumbing specifications. Such details must be determined and provided by the appointed contractor.

Project Monitoring Service

Where requested, my project monitoring service includes:

• Obtaining quotations from contractors

• Organising start dates

• Coordinating contractors to ensure the agreed design concept is followed

This service does not include providing construction details, technical drawings, drainage layouts, electrical plans, or structural specifications. These remain the responsibility of the contractors appointed to carry out the works.

The cost of this service is 7% of all contractor invoices (subject to project complexity and location). MP Landscape and Garden Design accepts no liability for any works carried out by recommended contractors, including but not limited to construction, drainage, electrical, structural, plumbing, materials supplied, or site safety. All contractors are responsible for their own materials, their own work, and guarantee their own workmanship.

Acceptance of Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary permissions, approvals, and consents (including but not limited to planning permission and building regulations) are obtained prior to any works being carried out. The customer agrees to indemnify MP Landscape and Garden Design  against any liability, costs, or expenses which may arise if works are undertaken without the required permissions, approvals, or consents.

Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by a court or competent authority to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to have full force and effect.
