This Service Disclaimer explains the limits of responsibility when using the MP Landscape & Garden Design website and when commissioning design‑only services. It outlines what is and is not guaranteed, clarifies contractor responsibility, and defines the boundaries of professional involvement.

Design‑Only Service

MP Landscape & Garden Design provides a design‑only service. I do not carry out construction, landscaping, planting, outdoor kitchen installation, or any physical works. All construction and installation must be undertaken by independent contractors appointed directly by the client.

No responsibility is accepted for construction outcomes, workmanship, safety, or compliance with regulations.

Contractor Responsibility

Any contractors suggested during the design process are independent third parties. Clients must carry out their own due diligence before appointing a contractor, including checking insurance, qualifications, references and suitability.

I am not responsible for:

• contractor performance or conduct

• workmanship, pricing or timescales

• guarantees, warranties or defects

• construction methods or technical decisions

• compliance with building regulations or safety standards

All responsibility for construction lies solely with the appointed contractor.

Outdoor Kitchen Disclaimer

Outdoor kitchens designed under Food & Fire Outdoor Living must be installed by qualified contractors. I do not install appliances, utilities, ventilation, fire‑safe structures or any physical components.

I am not liable for:

• appliance installation

• gas, electric or plumbing works

• fire safety compliance

• structural or material performance

• ventilation or heat‑management decisions

All installation responsibility remains with the contractor.

Project Monitoring Limitations

Project monitoring is limited to ensuring the design intent is followed. It does not include:

• supervising construction

• approving technical decisions

• managing contractors

• certifying works

• ensuring regulatory compliance

• health and safety oversight

Project monitoring does not transfer any responsibility for contractor work to me.

Material Disclaimer

Sustainable materials are not used as part of the design specification. Material suggestions are based on appearance, durability and suitability only. I am not responsible for long‑term performance, weathering, maintenance or supplier availability.

Site Conditions

Designs are based on information available at the time of the survey. I am not responsible for:

• hidden or unknown site conditions

• inaccurate measurements provided by clients or contractors

• changes made on site without my knowledge

• issues arising from drainage, soil conditions, utilities or structural elements

Contractors must verify all dimensions and levels before construction.
