As a Holmfirth garden designer, I always enjoy working with the unique character of the local landscape. For this project, I created detailed garden design concept plans and a walkthrough animation for a rear garden in Holmfirth. The aim was to transform the space into a practical, stylish, and welcoming outdoor living area.

This rear garden needed a design that combined function with beauty. I developed a layout that includes Indian sandstone paving with cobble sets, stone retaining walls, a water feature, and an outdoor kitchen with a canopy or pergola. To complete the scheme, I added generous planting areas and a lawn to bring balance and softness.

Outdoor entertaining is becoming a must-have in garden design in Holmfirth. For this project, I designed a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, sheltered with either a canopy or pergola. This makes the space ideal for BBQs, family gatherings, and all-weather cooking.

Planting and Lawn for Balance

To help the clients see their new garden before construction begins, I created a walkthrough animation. This tool allows them to experience the flow of the garden, from the house onto the patio, past the water feature, into the outdoor kitchen, and across the lawn.
